How does it work?

We give you a special URL you can insert in the ‘Appointments’ field of your Google Business Profile. When patients search for your practice on Google and see your profile they’ll be able to book directly through this link. And best of all there’s no charges for any patients who book via this link at eligible practices (see more details below)!

Am I eligible to receive this special URL?

For now, we only give this Healthengine Appointment link to practices meeting the below criteria:

• Practices on a Patient Connect Plus or higher plan (subscription fees apply) or GP Complete subscription. 
• Practices accepting both new and existing patients on Healthengine.
• Practices publishing appointments on Healthengine

What are the benefits?

• More bookings. Enable patients with high intent to book via your Google Business Profile.
• No new patient fees. You won’t pay anynew patient fees for appointments booked through this link.
• Better patient experience. Make life easier forpatients searching for you to book straight from your Google Business Profile.

How to set up or update your Google Business Profile?

1. Log into Google Business Profile. If you don't already have an account, Google your practice > click Own this Business and follow the prompts.
   
   
2. Copy and paste your Healthengine Appointment link that we’ve sent you by email to your listing by clicking Edit > select Appointment URL > add the link and click Apply. For detailed instructions see this Add links to your Business Profile page. Please note you are also able to add more than one Appointment URL, and each link is unique to a practice.
   
   
   
3. When patients Google your practice they will be able to make a booking using the Appointments link as seen below:
