I have deleted a block schedule, why aren't my appointments published?
When a block schedule is deleted, appointment slots are not automatically republished. This is intentionally designed to provide an opportunity for stores to apply any additional changes to that specific period and prevent accidental publication of appointments in case the block schedule was deleted unintentionally.
If you intended to delete the block schedule and would like to republish all appointment slots, you can easily do so by selecting the 'Republish all appointments' option located at the bottom right of your calendar page.
Given that you can only republish appointments for one day at a time, this provides you with the flexibility to select the specific days you wish to republish.
Please note: all appointment slots that are currently unpublished due to the removal of a block schedule will be made available for booking. This includes any slots that you have manually unpublished.
PRO TIP: To simplify the process of republishing multiple days at once, utilize your advanced availability settings to trigger a republish action. This way, you can avoid the need to manually republish each day individually!
Here's how to do it:
- Click on the cog icon to access your advance publishing settings.
- Set your advanced publishing day to Same day.
- Exit the settings and allow a few minutes for the changes to take effect (wait for the slots in your schedules to be unpublished)
- Return to the settings and revert the advanced publishing day back to your previous setting.
Important Note: All appointment slots that are currently unpublished due to the removal of a block schedule will be made available for booking. This includes any slots that you have manually unpublished throughout the entire period. Therefore, it is crucial to take into account any manually unpublished slots and make necessary adjustments before using this method.
