Why did HealthEngine create a new patient file for me at the practice? Follow

HealthEngine's patient-matching system is primarily based on First Name, Last Name, and date of birth. If a patient enters their name into the HealthEngine booking form differently to how it appears in the practice's system, it will attempt to use the additional details entered (such as email address, phone number, etc.) to match to a patient file in the practice's system. If it can't find a match and the practice has enabled patient file creation, a new patient file will be created. 

 

To avoid this from happening, be sure to enter your name and other details as accurately as possible, or according to what the practice has on file for you, when booking online.
