We know as a patient, you prefer to book in different ways, from online bookings to phone calls or at the front desk. Now, you can instantly receive an email or SMS booking notification containing all of the appointment details relevant to your booked appointment, even if you didn't book through Healthengine.

 

This is an opt-in product for your practice to help ensure that there are no gaps in communicating your appointment details with you.

Why did I receive this when I don't use Healthengine? 

The practice you’ve booked has opted to send Booking notifications to their patients through Helathengine to ensure you have all the essential details at your fingertips.

 

Life can get busy, and sometimes dates and times might slip our minds. The booking notification gives you a clear notification of your appointment details and the relevant practice details so you don't miss your important appointments.



I didn't book this appointment, so why am I receiving this?

We’ve picked up from the practice’s appointment book that there’s an appointment booked with the practice for you on this date and time. 

 

If this is not the case, we recommend you reach out to the practice and reference the appointment details listed in the Booking notification to confirm the situation.



Why was this sent to my mother?

A booking notification is sent to the contact details provided to the practice at the time of booking. Sometimes, when appointments are scheduled directly with the practice the contact information provided during booking gets used for notifications like these to help. 

 

If you'd like to make sure this doesn't happen in the future, you might want to double-check the contact details associated with the patient record with the practice. That way, the notifications will go to the right person next time.



I don't give you permission to contact me.

If messaging isn't your thing and you didn't give the green light for contact, we absolutely respect that. Your preferences are super important! You can unsubscribe from receiving these kinds of messages by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the email we’ve sent you.
