How to Get the Most out of Reminders Plus Follow

We understand that getting a brand new system to manage your daily processes can be daunting to adjust to, so here are some daily tasks that we recommend to get the most out of Reminders Plus.

Keep Practice Admin open throughout the day to quickly and easily check on how your patients are responding to their reminders.

  • Review any appointments in the 'To Action' list for which the patient cancelled but didn't rebook.
    • You can reach out to these patients to see if they'd like to re-book for another time.

  • Review any appointments in the 'To Action' list for which there was an invalid but missing mobile number.
    • You can reach out to these patients manually to confirm if they are attending their appointment. 

  • Review any appointments in the 'To Action' list for which the Reminders Plus system couldn't understand the patient's response.
    • These patients may have been trying to cancel their appointment, or to let you know that they are running late.
    • Reviewing these responses may help with efficient management of your waiting room. 

When patients attend your practice for their appointment, be sure to confirm that their details are up-to-date in your Practice Management System so that reminders are being sent correctly for each patient.
