My Practitioner's Appointments are No Longer Online? Follow

If you're using an integrated Practice Management Software (PMS) with Healthengine, one important thing to remember is how changes in your practitioner's PMS appointment book can affect their appointments online.

Generally speaking, with integrated software we connect to a practitioner's name, appointment book location and the default slot length or appointment type depending on your software.

These details combine to create the appointment book that you connect to your practitioner's profile in Healthengine so their appointments publish online.

If any of these details change, even in the slightest way, it will mean a new appointment book has been created and needs to be connected in place of the old one.

A change can be as small as:

  • Adding a capital letter to a practitioner's name
  • Adding a title such as Dr.
  • Changing the location names in your PMS for example from 'Main Surgery' to the specific location of your practice
  • Changing the default slot length for example from 15 minutes to 10 minutes

If this occurs and you notice your practitioner's appointments are no longer publishing online, you may be able to solve the issue yourself depending on whether you have multiple accounts on Healthengine or just the one.
