Why am I being asked to create a passcode? Follow

If you have recently updated your app to Version 7.0.0 or above you may see that you need to create a passcode. 

We are introducing tighter security to the apps to protect users data and make the app more convenient for users. All users will need to go through two-factor authentication by logging in using your email/password and then entering an SMS code sent to your primary profiles mobile number.

You will also need to create your passcode which you will be asked to enter whenever you launch the app or after 10 minutes of inactivity. For convenience, we let users also enable Touch ID or Face ID to enter the app and have the passcode just as a backup.

Setting up a passcode

Step 1:

Once you click 'create a passcode' you will need to create a 4 digit passcode that you will then need to confirm

Step 2:

Once confirmed, you verify your details by sending a verification code to your primary profiles mobile number. (If you need to change your mobile number follow the instructions here) You then enter that verification code into the app to complete the process.

This update will allow us to release a number of features that will further increase the usability of the app, so look out for future updates coming soon.

 

What's with Touch ID?

If you activated Touch ID, you can close your app down and reopen it to log in using touch ID and see how it works. If you change your mind, you can toggle the Touch ID setting off in your app. To do this, go to the account screen and select App Security.

You then just use the toggle to switch it off.

Please note: If you no longer have access to your verified mobile number and are unable to receive the verification code, you will be able to change your verified mobile number during this setup. For instruction on how to do this, see the article here
