Zavy 360 - Healthengine's Integration: Benefits & Troubleshooting
Healthengine's Zavy 360 integration syncs with your online availability, allowing you to manage appointments efficiently and display availability online.
If you're not set up for online bookings through Zavy 360, you’ll need to use one of our non-integrated solutions, which you can read more about here. For practices using online appointments, below you'll find a complete overview of the integration and its benefits.
Benefits of the Integration for Your Practice
Seamless Connection: Our integration with Zavy 360 is cloud-based, meaning we connect via API without the need for access to server computers or software installations. This eliminates potential issues related to hardware or server connections.
Time-saving: The integration automatically reads and publishes your availability while inserting booked appointments directly into your Zavy 360 diary.
Online Cancellations: When a patient cancels through their Healthengine account or confirmation email, the booking will be removed from your Zavy 360 diary and marked as cancelled in Healthengine.
Please note: Cancellations made in Zavy 360 will not appear in your Healthengine account, only those made via Healthengine.
Integration Publishing Limit
The default that your integration will publish is 30 days. This can be updated to match your Zavy 360 settings.
How Does it Work?
Requirements and Activation
Before beginning the setup, ensure you have an active access key created on Healthengine - you may need to reach out to our support team to confirm this. Once completed, navigate to Integration Consent in your Healthengine Account menu to setup Consent.
Grant consent in:Practice Admin → Account → Integration Consent → Grant New Consent.-
- Enter your name.
- Enter Zavy 360 as the vendor.
Integration Setup
After you have done the consent, follow these steps to activate the Healthengine integration within Zavy 360:
Confirm Healthengine is available inZavy 360 → Settings → Integrations → Third Party → Healthengine .- If Healthengine is not listed, contact Zavy 360 to add Healthengine there before continuing.
- Enter your practice ID in the App Key field and your Practice Key/code from the consent you did earlier in the App Secret field.
- Click Save.
Practice Setup
Go to Zavy 360 → Settings → Calendar tab → Online bookings tab.
Ensure the location you intend to publish is enabled.
Confirm the below settings match our settings in your Healthengine portal or update as needed.

Lead Time:
Practice Admin Portal → Appointments Setup → Appointment Settings → Appointment Delisting Period - How far in advance: (Default is 30 days, please contact support to update this)
Practitioner setup
Go to Zavy 360 → Settings → Overview tab → Manage Staff Accounts.
Confirm the Practitioner is enabled
Edit practitioner and confirm checkbox in Enable in Calendar is ticked.
Enable appointment types for online bookings
- Go to
Zavy 360 → Settings → Overview tab → Appointment Shorcuts. - Open the appointment type they are wanting to publish online
- Confirm it’s assigned to the staff member who is offering it
- Confirm Healthengine is ticked under booking platforms
Availability
Healthengine reads available time from rosters. It is updated from Zavy 360 every 5 minutes or when an appointment is created, updated or cancelled.
Checking Roster Settings
- Go to
Zavy 360 → Settings → Overview tab → Adjust Working Hours for Existing Staff - Adjust Working Hours for Existing Staff
These can also be edited directly from the Calendar by clicking the open roster button, these need to have Healthengine ticked
Blocking availability from publishing
There are a few ways to block out publishing times:
- Edit the schedule in Zavy 360.
- Add a fake/test booking into a slot to block out a time if the practice doesn't want to use the schedule-edit method above.
